Lady Demons’ Valentine’s date ends in heartbreak with loss to Jaguars

Northwestern State women’s tennis team traveled to Mobile, Alabama, to play the South Alabama Jaguars. The Lady Demons (0-4) lost their fourth match of the season.
In her first match of the 2025 season, Senior Ayu Ishibashi picked up a win over USA’s Cristina Tchanichev 64, 6-3 at the No. 6 spot.
NSU got the best of the Jaguars in doubles, winning two out of the three matches.
