LDWF says thanks to President for executive order

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) applauds President Donald Trump for issuing an Executive Order establishing the Make America Beautiful Again Commission, a bold and welcome commitment to the restoration, conservation, and accessibility of America’s public lands, waters, and outdoor heritage.

The President’s order emphasizes expanding access to public lands, restoring fish and wildlife populations through voluntary, collaborative efforts, and cutting bureaucratic restrictions—priorities that closely align with LDWF’s longstanding goals and recent advocacy.

“We are grateful for the President’s leadership in placing conservation and outdoor access back at the center of our national agenda,” said LDWF Secretary Tyler Bosworth. “This Executive Order affirms the critical role state partners play and recognizes the need to restore access and promote recreational opportunities and responsible stewardship across our nation’s public lands.”
