Pool at NSU complex opens this weekend

The pool at Northwestern State University Recreation Complex will open at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 2. Hours will be 2-7 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday. The pool will be closed Mondays.NSU faculty/staff memberships are available for $160 (individual) and $200 (family).

NSU rakes in record dollars from Giving Day

NSU fans and supporters donated a record total of $345,817 to Demon athletics during the May 15 event, more than tripling the initial goal.“We had an initial goal of $100,000, and our supporters blew that out of the water,” Director of Athletics Kevin Bostian said.

Summer youth baseball camp dates changed

The two Chris Bertrand Baseball Youth Camps have been rolled into one. There remain spots open for the one camp, which will take place June 10-12 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at Parc Natchitoches, located at 4515 University Parkway. The June 3-5 camp has been canceled.
