Northwestern State announces 2025 Homecoming Honor Court

Northwestern State University has named 22 students to its 2025 Homecoming Honor Court. Members of the court were selected by a vote of the student body. The court will be presented at halftime of the Homecoming football game against East Texas A&M on Saturday, Oct. 4.

La. Guard’s Tiger Brigade marks 20th Anniversary of redeployment and hurricane response

This fall, the Louisiana National Guard’s 256th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, known as the Tiger Brigade, commemorates the 20th anniversary of its redeployment from Iraq in September 2005, coinciding with the 20th anniversary of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
