Sheriff warns about school zones

The Natchitoches Parish Sheriff ’s Office is reminding motorists to reduce their speed and use extra caution while traveling through the Fairview Alpha Elementary school zone on US-71, particularly during morning arrival and afternoon dismissal times.

Course will be on child endangerment

Northwestern State University and the Many Police Department will present a two-day course that will address two different investigations: child endangerment and asset forfeiture.
