Merry Christmas Kids!

Partnering with Emanuel Temple-#141 Masonic Lodge, Ben D. Johnson Educational Center and Theta Delta Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, the Krewe of Excellence annual Toy Drive is underway. Natchitoches Parish children ages three to 12 will receive the new toys this holiday season.

This past week Malcolm and I went to my sister, Peggy Cochran’s house, for Thanksgiving. Our son Marcus was in from California and our son Matt and his family all went to the Thanksgiving dinner. There were several cousins there. The siblings there were Peggy, our brother Pete and I.

Northwestern names royalty to homecoming court

Zoe Johnson of Morgan City was the homecoming queen at Northwestern State and Zac Cooper of Winnsboro was the king.The court was presented after the volleyball match between Northwestern State and McNeese State that was Saturday, Nov. 4 at 3 p.m. in Prather Coliseum.
