City of Natchitoches Utility Department crews take down its famous lights at the corner of Front Street and Touline Wednesday night, marking the end of Christmas Festival and the beginning of Mardi Gras season which runs through Feb. 17.
The City of Natchitoches has been awarded a $5.7 Million Safe Streets for All (SS4A) Implementation Grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation. This competitive grant will provide funding to advance transportation safety improvements designed to reduce crashes, protect pedestrians and cyclists and create safer, more accessible roadways throughout the community.
