The magic and revelry of Mardi Gras kicked off in Natchitoches Saturday when the Krewe of Excellence Parade rolled down Front St. to Lafayette St., ending at Church and Second Sts. to ring in the season. The frolicking continues with the Krewe of the 9 Parade on Jan, 31 at noon, Cloutierville Mardi Gras Parade on Feb. 7 at 2 p.m. and Krewe of Dionysos Mardi Gras Parade on Feb. 14 at 6 p.m. Photo courtesy of Wiley Butler
