  • Brookshire Grocery Company donated $2,000 to the Cane River Food Pantry during the Super 1 grand opening. The Cane River Food Pantry distributes foodstuffs the second Saturday of the month from 8 to 10 a.m. at 446 Martin Luther King Dr. to qualifying persons. To apply or to drop off donations go to the pantry office at 220 Amulet St. At left is Chairman/CEO Brad Brookshire, and at right is Store Director Eddie Medley.
