Detention Center costs rising for Parish Government

The Parish Council continues to grapple with escalating fees from LaSalle Corrections that operates the detention center.At the Parish Council Oct. 20, Monday, Parish Treasurer Julie Lockhart said the detention center has 120 beds at a cost of $26.39 per bed daily.
