Burn Ban declared in Parish

Because of the lack of rainfall and the extremely dry conditions Natchitoches Parish President John Salter has issued a Parish-wide burn ban effective immediately. The burn ban will remain in place until further notice.

Kiwanis Club announces winners of Color Run and Pancake Festival

The Kiwanis Club of Natchitoches’ Sept. 20 Color Run and Pancake Festival drew strong support from the Northwestern State University family with several students, faculty and staff turning out for the races.The event is held annually to support children and raise funds for youth programs.
