I hope you have had a productive week. As we continue preparing for the start of a new academic year, I want to share several updates that highlight the partnerships, planning, and opportunities that continue to move Northwestern State University forward.

NSU will have Notary Public prep class in August

Northwestern State University’s Office of Electronic Learning and Global Engagement will offer a Notary Public Exam Prep class starting Aug. 17. Early bird registration is available through July 28 at a cost of $499. After July 28, registration will continue through Aug. 11 at a cost of $519.

3-Day trial ends with guilty verdict on 5 felonies

Natchitoches Parish District Attorney Billy Joe Harrington announced that a 12person jury has returned guilty verdicts on all five felony charges following a three-day trial in Division A of the 10th Judicial District Court.
