LIHEAP appointments begin Jan. 21

The Parish of Natchitoches Office of Community Services (OCS) announces the availability of Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) services to assist eligible low-income households in Natchitoches Parish with home heating energy costs.

NPD officers will be equipped with tasers

Natchitoches Police Officers will soon be equipped with tasers.At its meeting Monday, the City Council adopted a resolution that will allow the Natchitoches Police Department to buy 55 tasers.
