The Parish of Natchitoches Office of Community Services (OCS) announces the availability of Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) services to assist eligible low-income households in Natchitoches Parish with home heating energy costs.

Theophile Alley shooting victim dies in Shreveport; search for shooter continues

The Natchitoches Police Department is now investigating the shooting Sunday evening, Jan. 11, on Theophile Alley as a homicide. On Jan. 13 investigators with the Natchitoches Police Department were notified by hospital officials in Caddo Parish the victim had died as a result of the injuries.

Work on J.C. Deblieux Drive starts Monday, entire street will close

The City of Natchitoches announces the closure of the outside (southbound) travel lane on J.C. Deblieux Drive, beginning Monday, Jan 19.The closure will help to expedite completion of the concrete pavement replacement work that has been ongoing for several weeks.
