Red River Parish Fire Chief John Woodfin issued a burn ban last week. The ban prohibits all outdoor burning due to the risk of wildfires from current drought conditions across the Parish. The burn ban remains in effect until further notice.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), another small earthquake was recorded about four miles west of Coushatta Tuesday, Feb. 24, at 1:44 a.m.
