In a split vote the Natchitoches Parish School Board nixed a staggered school start schedule proposed for the 2026-2027 school year that Superintendent Dr. Grant Eloi recently brought to the table.
The Board was also split on its decision to uphold Dr. Eoi’s recommendation to maintain the expulsion of a junior high student.
All this and more took place during the Dec. 9 regular meeting.
