A big first-half surge from a hotshooting San Francisco team proved too much for the Northwestern State men’s basketball team to overcome Tuesday night, as the Demons fell 84–64 at War Memorial Gym.“We didn’t play well,” head coach Rick Cabrera said.

Head coach Jenny Fuller announced the addition of four high school signees on Thursday as part of Northwestern State’s 2027 softball signing class.The Demons pick up a pitcher, a power-hitting lefty, a corner infielder with Gold Glove accolades and a two-way, do-it-all player as part of the class.

The St. Mary’s Tigers rolled past Lakeview 58–0 Friday night to finish the regular season at 5–5 overall and 4–1 in District 3-1A play.John Paul Thibodaux led the offensive charge with two touchdown runs, while Jacob Thibodaux added a 45-yard score on the ground.
