There aren’t enough adjectives in the world to describe the greatness of Maygan Shaw.Just this year, she has broken and re-broken several Northwestern State records. She added to that total at LSU, as she smashed her school record of 400-meter dash, clocking a 51.

The Louisiana spring squirrel hunting season begins May 3 in most parts of Louisiana and lasts until May 25, the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) announced. Squirrel hunting is the perfect gateway for hunting and a great introduction for youth into the sport.

Clay Jung’s week of big swings may have crested Friday night.For the first time in three games, Northwestern State’s designated hitter did not hit a home run, but his RBI double in the 10th inning was the walk-off knock in the Demons’ 2-1 Southland Conference victory against Lamar.
