Northwestern State drops finale at Central Arkansas

Even when the Northwestern State baseball team’s offense started slowly in the early part of the 2026 season, the Demon pitching staff typically had held the game in position for a comeback.That did not happen Sunday afternoon at Bear Stadium.

Louisiana Tech uses big first inning to top Northwestern

Northwestern State fell into an early hole on Tuesday, one it was not able to escape from in a 12-3 run-rule loss at Louisiana Tech.Four walks and an error in the bottom of the first inning led to six runs.

Demons’ second-half surge not enough against McNeese

Northwestern State men’s basketball team closed the game with a strong surge Monday night, but the Demons’ rally came up short in a 75–64 Southland Conference loss to McNeese on Mike McConathy Court at Prather Coliseum.

Northwestern State “Fantastic 50” Legend remembered

A 2004 inductee into the N-Club Hall of Fame and a member of Northwestern’s All-Century Team as part of the “Fantastic 50” Legends Era, Crnkovic, 92, passed away peacefully at the Northwest Louisiana Veterans Home in Bossier City on Jan. 28.
