Faced with a spate of midweek adversity, the Northwestern State baseball team answered affirmatively both as a group and individually Tuesday night.

The Red River Games Special Olympics opened with a torch run for athletes who competed in track and field events, arts, crafts and field day games at Northwestern State University March 19.
'Our Spurs coached by Derrick Solitaire and Chris Howard went into the end of year tournament as the 4th seed and came out on top as Champs!! What an exciting season it was for the 9/10 Spurs!' said City League Director Blake Dotson. King Kat tournament on the Red River next month

King Kat is coming to Natchitoches to hold one of its 2024 Signature Series Tournaments on the Red River. The tournament is held April 11-13. Public weigh-ins take place Friday, April 12 at Grand Ecore Boat Launch, and the final weigh-in is Saturday, April 13,on the Natchitoches Riverbank.
