Thomas beats buzzer as Demons stun Islanders

Northwestern State trailed for most of Saturday afternoon, absorbed multiple Texas A&M–Corpus Christi scoring runs, and still found a way to steal the final possession.Micah Thomas made sure it was the only one that mattered.

Northwestern State holds off UTRGV in tight home win

Northwestern State once again turned Mike McConathy Court at Prather Coliseum into a pressure cooker Monday night, grinding its way through adversity before delivering a dramatic 64–63 Southland Conference men’s basketball victory over UTRGV.

Northwestern falls short in final seconds at Nicholls

Northwestern State clawed all the way back from a nine-point halftime deficit but came up just short Monday night, falling 74–72 to Nicholls in a tightly contested Southland Conference men’s basketball battle at Stopher Gymnasium.
