Northwestern State adds goalkeeper transfer

After dipping into the transfer portal for a midfielder and defender, Northwestern State soccer head coach Ian Brophy now picks up a goalkeeper in the form of transfer Saki Tsuchiya.Tsuchiya, a native of Takasaki, Japan, comes to NSU following a season at Valparaiso.

N-Club Hall of Fame coach John Ropp has died at the age of 95.The longtime coach, who mentored athletes at every level of organized scholastic competition from elementary school through college, served Northwestern State in several capacities.

Northwestern announces “Leave Your Mark” giving campaign

As the 2025 calendar year comes to an end, Northwestern State fans have a chance to make it a happy one for the Demons’ athletic department.The department announced its Leave Your Mark campaign, which carries a goal of raising $100,000 in donations from Demon supporters by Dec. 31.
