For the first 20 minutes Saturday afternoon, the Northwestern State men’s basketball team stayed within striking distance of visiting Rice.In the second half, however, the Owls collected themselves and cruised to a 76-51 victory to spoil the Demons’ first home game in 33 days.

The Northwestern State soccer team goes out of the country to receive its next commitment.After bringing in eight to begin the 2024 signing class, head coach Ian Brophy added to his first full offseason recruiting class by announcing the addition of Canadian Ravina Sandhu.

Northwestern State pushed a streaking ULM team through most of the game on Tuesday night but the Warhawk offensive firepower was enough to secure a 76-60 win, snapping NSU’s fourgame winning streak.“I was really proud of the girls,” head coach Anna Nimz said.

The Northwestern State men’s basketball team came out firing in its final outing of a seven-game stretch away from home.However, the Demons were unable to continue their sizzling start from the field and fell to Boise State, 93-54, at ExtraMile Arena on Tuesday night.
