Lady Demons hot start fades in 5-set loss to McNeese

An electric atmosphere created by another record-setting crowd inside Prather Coliseum helped propel Northwestern State to a commanding match lead, but McNeese’s stalwart defense and relentless offense pushed it through to a 3-2 (24-26, 24-26, 25-19, 25-15, 1510) on Saturday afternoon.

Demons cruise past Dallas Christian to give Cabrera win in debut

Following a thrilling victory in penalty kicks in the quarterfinals, the Northwestern State soccer team aims to make its third Southland Conference Tournament title game in five years when it plays regular season champion Lamar on Friday at the Dr. Jack Dugan Soccer and Track & Field Stadium.
