Northwestern names royalty to homecoming court

Zoe Johnson of Morgan City was the homecoming queen at Northwestern State and Zac Cooper of Winnsboro was the king.The court was presented after the volleyball match between Northwestern State and McNeese State that was Saturday, Nov. 4 at 3 p.m. in Prather Coliseum.

Young- at -Heart meets

The monthly Young at Heart luncheon for seniors was on Nov. 1 at First United Methodist Church.The Back Porch Band entertained the gathering with a selection of gospel and traditional favorites, and David Clark displayed photographs from his “Feathers and Friends” wildlife collection.

Cane River DAR Chapter honors Veterans
