Rose and Smith tapped for Northwestern’s CAPA Hall of Fame

The Dear School of Creative and Performing Arts has named longtime faculty members Richard Rose and Tony Smith as the 2023 inductees into the CAPA Hall of Fame. Rose and Smith will be honored during the Nov. 4 homecoming game vs. Houston Christian.

A guest artist recital featuring Shreveportbased musicians Johnum Palado on violin, Thomas Hundemer on horn and Robert Cruz on piano will be presented on Sunday, Oct. 15, at 3 p.m. in the Varnado Hall Ballroom. There is no admission fee.

Alpha Kappa Alpha will present debutantes
