Village of Natchez passed its 2025- 2026 budget, thanks to Mayor Patsy Ward Hoover who had to break the tie. Such action took place during the regular monthly meeting on Oct. 2.
Following a public hearing on the proposed budget with no comments from the attendees and no changes made by the council, Alderman Monique Sarpy made a motion to approve as presented and Alderman McKinley Hoover seconded.
