St. Mary’s donates to Medical Center for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

As part of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, St. Mary’s Catholic School and Immaculate Conception Church presented a $2,500 donation to the Natchitoches Regional Medical Center (NRMC) Foundation during halftime Oct. 2.

Recipes, Rhythm & Roots: A Creole Heritage Celebration is Thursday

The Gail Metoyer Jones Center at Northwestern State University invites the community to celebrate the vibrant traditions of Creole culture at “Recipes, Rhythm & Roots: A Creole Heritage Celebration” at 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23 at in the Lucile Hendrick Room on the first floor of the Student Union.
