The Lambertown Cemetery Homecoming will be Sunday, Oct. 5 at the Shamrock Advent Christian Church on Shamrock Loop of Hwy. 120 Homecoming will begin with a devotion at 10 a.m. followed by a business meeting at 11 a.m. Dinner on the grounds will follow the business meeting.

Fontainebleau State Park gets grant for accessible kayak launch

The Louisiana Office of State Parks was recently awarded a Bronco Wild Fund (BWF) grant through America’s State Parks. The $20,000 grant will be used to purchase a new accessible kayak launch and dock at Fontainebleau State Park.
