Courthouse Chiller

Part of Church Street was closed Thursday morning while Mechanical Cooling Service removed the old HVAC and replaced it with a new one at the Natchitoches Parish Courthouse. Several truck loads of equipment arrived in Natchitoches about 6 a.m. to erect the crane and get ready for the installation.

JAG members continue to have engaging speakers and projects

The Natchitoches Jr. High JAG members recently participated in a meaningful and thought-provoking discussion centered on school safety and security. The conversation focused on the important and complex question: Should teachers be armed with a weapon at school?
