Murder victim found in vehicle on Grace Avenue after shots fired

The Natchitoches Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred Saturday afternoon on Grace Avenue.On May 9, around 5:22 p.m., officers with the Natchitoches Police Department were dispatched to the area of Grace Avenue and Dixie Street in reference to gunshots in the area.

NPD arrests man, file attempted 2nd degree murder charges

The Natchitoches Police Department has arrested Jordan Hamilton, BM, 17,. of Natchitoches for attempted second degree murder, illegal use of weapons, resisting an officer, aggravated criminal damage to property, illegal carrying of a weapon and unlawful handling of a machine gun.

Ceramics course set at NSU for beginners to work with clay
