Kendrioun Boatman of Natchitoches, was recently elected to membership into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society, at Northwestern State University of Louisiana.

Coushatta student is winner of veterinary school honoree

In 2025, the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine gave out more than $291,000 in scholarships and awards to veterinary students. Students received monetary awards, memberships to professional organizations, journal subscriptions, plaques, certificates and veterinary medicine manuals and supplies.
