OngoingVoices 4 Autism is offering a Chair Fitness Class geared toward older active adults or anyone who needs a low impact class to stay strong and mobile.The free weekly class is held Thursdays from 10 to 11 a.m. at the MLK Recreational Center dance studio. Instructor is Ms. RM Reilford.

Recreational trails grant period opens

The application period for the Federal Highway Administration’s Recreational Trails Program for Louisiana (RTPL) is now open. Grant applications are due no later than Tuesday, July 1, 2025.
