Suspect apprehended without incident

The Natchitoches Police Department arrested Christopher Braden, 33, of Natchitoches for a vehicle theft that in the 200 block of Ainsley Street.On March 15, around 9:20 a.m., NPD officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Ainsley Street for vehicle theft.

NPSO arrests non-compliant sex offender, seize firearms

The Natchitoches Parish Sheriff ’s Office arrested Eduardo Garibay, a registered sex offender, for failing to comply with Louisiana’s sex offender registration laws. Garibay, who had been residing in Natchitoches Parish for over a year, was required to register in Louisiana but failed to do so.
