Campbell: Vote No on Amendment No. 2

Dear Editor: When they vote on March 29, Louisiana voters should reject Constitutional Amendment No. 2. Passage of this irresponsible amendment will destroy a carefully managed savings account that has funded classroom needs in our state’s public and private schools for more than 30 years.

Drummer Tina Raymond to perform with NSU Jazz Orchestra April 7

Drummer, composer and educator Tina Raymond will be featured with the Northwestern State University Jazz Orchestra on Monday, April 7 at 7:30 p.m. in Magale Recital Hall. Admission is free.A live stream of the concert will be available at nsula.edu/capa/capali vestream.

‘Pick up your brush’ set at NSU

Northwestern State University’s Office of Electronic Learning and Global Education will offer a Pick Up Your Brush painting class on April 3 and 10 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on the second floor of South Hall. The fee is $45 for each separate session.
