Boil advisory lifted

The City of Natchitoches’ Distribution System would like to notify the public that the Boil Advisory issued for St. Claire Avenue (from David Circle to Ledet Dr.) and Whitfield Drive (from Ledet Dr. to E. 5th) on Monday, March 17, has been lifted.

Texas Strett reopens

The City of Natchitoches announces that Texas Street has reopened to traffic. Texas Street was closed just east of the Highway 1 Bypass on Monday, March 17, to allow for emergency repairs to a damaged sewer main. The necessary repairs have been completed, and normal traffic flow has resumed. 

Sibley Lake reopens

The City of Natchitoches announces that Sibley Lake has reopened. On March 15, the boat ramps on Sibley Lake were closed due to high water levels.

The City of Natchitoches announces Texas Street is closed to all traffic at a location just east of the intersection of the Highway 1 Bypass for emergency repairs to a damaged sewer main.

Nature lovers can meet for day of fellowship, fun and food

Briarwood Caroline Dormon Nature Preserve annual spring picnic “Bloom & Brush,” the largest fundraiser of year, is Saturday, April 12, from 9 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.. Cost is $50 for adults; $10 for ages 13-18; free for those under 12.
