Drug Unit, NPD Narcotics Unit continue Fentanyl arrests

Natchitoches Parish Drug Enforcement Unit and the Natchitoches Police Department Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant in the 100 block of Amanda Dr. in Natchitoches on Jan. 14 as part of an ongoing effort to combat the fentanyl.

Miss Louisiana Volunteer Winners

Miss Louisiana Volunteer Pageant was Jan. 11 in Treen Auditorium at Louisiana School for Math, Science, and The Arts. Miss Louisiana Volunteer is a preliminary pageant to Miss Volunteer America, a nationwide, service-oriented scholarship program.

Chamber announces Go Natchitoches finalists

Registration is open for the Go Natchitoches Awards on Feb. 26 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Natchitoches Events Center. The event, sponsored by the Natchitoches Area Chamber of Commerce, will honor and celebrate the outstanding achievements of local businesses and community leaders.
