Family files wrongful death suit

A wrongful death suit was filed against Onyx Wine and Cigar Bar and owner Nicole Gray. The civil case was filed in 10th Judicial District Court on Dec. 26, 2024, by petitioners Tirquessa Zeno, on behalf of her son Marcus James Sewell, Jr., and Laqunta Slate, on behalf of her minor children.

Concerned Citizens and City will honor 15 businesses
