La. Guard conducts hyper-realistic disaster training

The Louisiana National Guard Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and High-Yield Explosive (CBRNE) Enhanced Response Force Package (CERFP) conducted a training exercise culminating in a National Guard Bureau evaluation Dec. 1–7 in Perry, Georgia.

LDWF says hunters harvest 10 black bears

The first Louisiana black bear hunting season in more than 35 years successfully concluded Sunday, Dec. 22. and included a 696pound adult male bear harvested by Louisiana military veteran and Purple Heart recipient, Deron Santiny, the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) announced.
