Commercial permit valuation vaulted in November with a total valuation of $14,557,000 according to the monthly report issued by City Planning and Zoning Director Shontrell Roque. The total valuation for commercial and residential was $$15,011,824.

Spots Eagle!

Cane River resident Dominick Metoyer came upon this eagle in the southbound lane of La Hwy.1 last week and managed to get this picture. There were two eagles soaring together but only this one stopped in the highway.
