The monthly Young at Heart luncheon for seniors was held on Dec. 4 at the First United Methodist Church. Nettles Brown and Roxanne Lane led the group in a sing-along program of Christmas carols,and David Clark exhibited a “Feathers and Friends” selection of his wildlife photography.

Alaska Guard’s Operation Santa Claus deliver holiday cheer

Alaska Army and Air National Guard members and Salvation Army volunteers boarded a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter with Santa Claus last month to deliver gifts to the remote village of Circle along the Yukon River.
