Lions Club recognizes locals with prestigious awards
Natchitoches Lions Club Members, from left, Michael Gianonne, Sarah Gianonne, Mimi Stoker, Nicole Woods, Sammy Woods and Michele Waskom attended the annual convention of Multiple District 8. The Gianonnes and Sammy Woods were named Melvin Jones Fellows, Stoker was presented with the International President’s Award, Nicole Woods and Waskom were presented with the International Leadership Award.
The 103rd Annual Convention of Multiple District 8 (Louisiana) Lions Clubs International was held at Cypress Bend Resort, bringing together nearly 200 Lions from across Louisiana. The event provided an opportunity for members statewide to collaborate, celebrate service achievements and strengthen their collective impact through leadership development and fellowship.
