After a summer break, Young at Heart luncheons for seniors resumed on August 7 at the First United Methodist Church. Young at Heart meets the first Wednesday of each month at 11 a.m. in Bostick Hall at the church; enter through doors under the bell tower. The meeting is nondenominational, and all seniors are welcome to enjoy good entertainment food, and fellowship. Those attending are asked to pay a $5.fee or to bring a covered dish to share. The next meeting is scheduled for Sept. 4.
