U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents contacted the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff ’s Office requesting assistance during an apprehension operation off La. Hwy 3278 near Natchitoches on Wednesday, Nov. 19.
During the operation, two illegals fled the area in a white Ford F250 pulling a trailer loaded with lawn equipment. A brief, slow-speed pursuit followed through the Oak Grove area before the vehicle came to a stop on La. Hwy 504 near La. Hwy 1.
One individual was immediately taken into custody. The second fled on foot.
