A traffic stop led to the arrest of a Goldonna woman on felony drug charges, her third narcotics-related arrest in the past three years, according to Natchitoches Parish Sheriff Stuart Wright.
On Tuesday, Nov. 17, at approximately 10:05 p.m., deputies assigned to the NPSO Patrol Operations Bureau were patrolling on La. Hwy 9 north of the Black Lake Bridge when they initiated a traffic stop on a 2004 Ford pickup truck for improper lane usage and equipment violations.
Deputies identified the driver as 40-yearold Katie E. Trouille of Trichell Camp Road, Goldonna. While speaking with Trouille, deputies observed she appeared extremely nervous. She also stated the vehicle was pulling to the left and admitted her driver’s license was suspended.
