Four NPSO deputies complete academy training, are on the job

    Natchitoches Parish Sheriff Stuart Wright announces that four Natchitoches Parish Deputies have graduated from the 97th session of the Alexandria Regional Police Academy.

    Deputies Jacob Bellow, Kaleb Edwards, James Watson and Aidan Weeks were honored during a graduation ceremony Nov. 20 at the Alexandria Convention Center.

    The 16-week academy provided over 620 hours of comprehensive training in areas such as criminal law, patrol procedures, vehicle stops, report writing, defensive tactics, physical fitness, first aid, DWI enforcement and the use of chemical agents.
