Natchitoches Junior High’s JAG members recently welcomed Georgette Waters, representative of The Good Food Project, as at speaker.
Waters visited the campus to educate he members about sustainable gardening and to support the launch of JAG’s garden initiative at the school’s newest location.
During her presentation, Waters shared practical information about soil health, plant selection, and the importance of growing food responsibly. She highlighted how sustainable gardening practices can benefit communities by improving access to fresh produce and encouraging healthier lifestyles.
