Sales tax collections, sales tax checks, district school calendar, transportation, student advisory council, board meeting calendar and the sell of school board property were among the topics discussed during the Natchitoches Parish School Board committee meeting on Dec. 2.
During his report, Superintendent Dr. Grant Eloi said the district had not received November sales tax dollars. As a result, employee sales tax checks would not go out until the dollars were in hand.
Additionally, Eloi noted instructional staff would likely receive the second half of TAP performance payouts prior to Christmas break.
