The La. Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Section assists consumers by investigating and mediating consumer disputes. Once they receive a dispute form, the office will evaluate the dispute and attempt to assist you in resolving differences between you and the company with which you have a dispute.
They may refer you and/or your dispute to a more appropriate agency and the office may provide you with steps that you can take to protect yourself from suspected identity theft. Call 800-351-4889.
