The Northwestern State Demons’ volleyball team lost 3-0 (25-12, 25-12 and 15) Thursday night on the road to the Southeastern Louisiana University Lady Lions in Southland Conference action.
The Demons (1-18, 05 SLC) got four kills from junior senior Deja Benjamin in the opening set. However, the Lady Lions (12-5, 4-1 SLC) recorded 15 kills in the set as they cruised to the first set win.
In set two, it was much of the same as the Lady Lions jumped out to a 14-4 lead following two attack errors by the Demons and two SLU kills.
