Three St. Mary’s football players named to LSWA Class 1A All-State team; honorable mention goes to 2 others

Three seniors from St. Mary’s were named to the LSWA Class 1A All-State football team. They were Drake Griffin, 6 foot, 218 pound linebacker; Payne Williams, 5 feet 10 inches, 150 pound place kicker; and Mixon Bankston, 5 feet 10 inches, 150 pound All- Around- Athlete.

LDAF licenses can be renewed early

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) has updated the licensing system to allow individuals to renew licenses before expiration. Previously, license holders had to wait until their license expired before repurchasing it.
